Default LG header install

I am installing LG headers on a 02 Z06. Got the right side in today, tomorrow the left side. Does the header go in from the bottom or top? Do I have to remove the alternator? Any other hints would be appreciated. Thanks

The driver side headers come in from the bottom. You will need a significant amount of lift on the car to put them in from the bottom. I had to put a piece of 8x8 wood on the floor jack just to get enough lift on the car to put them in.

I gained 45 RWHP when I installed my L.G. Motorsports long-tube headers with my Crane 1.8:1 aluminum, roller rockerarms.

Lou at L.G. told me that his headers were worth 20 to 25 of that gain.
