Help needed - Back Up Lights

Default Help needed - Back Up Lights
Hello all, have an issue with my back up lights engaging - the bulbs are good, and my mechanic feels it's probably the tranny switch that engages them. Has anyone else had this issue, or replaced this switch?

With the key in the on position jump the two wires to the switch.If the lamps come on the switch is at fault.Your "mechanic" should know that

Thanks for the info! We haven't even started doing a physical diagnostic yet, he's working on that tomorrow.
