Default B&M Ripper

After jokingly posting about my wife finding out I bought a B&M shifter the
other day I installed it last night. Man, this thing is cool. It took about 45 minutes to install. I've never done one before. A good 15 or 20 minutes was spent trying to get the tab out of the shift ****. What an incredible pain. It's amazing how much tighter the car now feels with the Z06 bars, Bilstein Sports and the shifter. The car feels like you would expect it to. Thanks to Nate at corvettegarage for informing me that B&M had changed their springs recently and recommending the B&M.

To my wife's credit after I explained why I installed a short-throw shifter whe replied "Well good, that's the way it's supposed to be".

WAY COOL!!!!

Its always good to explain your short shifter to your wife... she must really love you inspite of the shortness... But do you really think she believes "That's the way it is suppose to be"?????
BTW I love my Ripper..... it reminds me of my wife... ask anyone they will all tell you...
"Tight" and right. Even Zilla Knows.

I am not as dumb as I look ya know...I am an excellent chess player, when I make a calculated move, I can anticipate the next three of four moves.

These cars should come like this. This is how they are suppose to shift. Wait until you really get used to it, then drive someone elses car with a factory shifter, wow!

I originally thought about going with the Hurst mainly because of past experience with the brand. When I spoke with Nate he told that B&M had changed the springs slightly to avoid complaints of "too hard". I took his suggestion and it feels great. I certainly don't think it takes too much pressure.

And for ET - my vette is an M6, my other shifter is always an automatic!
