Just got my taxes for 04 done. I'm getting a refund!!! Time for mods!! Now, it's decision time.......What can I do for $4.00

Too Bad!
Figured my taxes - over a bunch of deductions (the most ever!!) and for the very first time in my whole life, I have to pay! It's not much - only a couple of hundred, but I am used to getting about $2k back. I have other income now that there are no with-holdings on so that's what did it. Still, it hurts!!! No mods - might do some exhaust tips - that's about it!

$4 will buy sufficient LED's to begin a project.
I've never understood why folks are so happy to get refunds from the IRS? $4 or $4000, why do you want your money tied up w/ Uncle Sam for a full year and the IRS won't even pay interest on it. Not only do you not get interest, it's like loaning the US Treasury your $$$ Reduce your withholding (more take home $$$) so you at least break even.
Further, in some states with State taxes, you have to claim your refund as 'income', so you get screwed coming and going.
If I had a dime for every one that got a refund, I'd never have to work again? Can I manage your taxes so you get a refund?
