That baby was worked!!

Its probably halfway through its life before a major overhaul. It still might be in good condition if those were mainly highway miles.

I would think that they would have to be highway miles. Unless he was using the Vette as a taxi cab in the city.

That's a lot of miles on a one year old car.

It would be worth about $ 28k but not for long it still has a lot of depriciation left in it. I'd run from it. But thats me.

I found one for sale and was contemplating whether or not to buy. It's got to be highway miles and the condition is excellent so I'm thinking it might be perfect for my wife in that it might only get 5k per year or less. Especially if you can get it for low 20's. Thanks for the input so far.

You can get an older car with 1/3 the miles for the same price. I'd be more concerned about miles than years...I'd pass if it were me.

The age of parts plays more into problems than miles. If you can get for low 20s I say get it.

I'd jump on it. Those have gotta be highway miles. It's most likely got EASILY 50K left, maybe 100K. And if you'r only driving 5K per year......that's 10-20 years!

If it's an early '04 it's 2 years old now. 50K per year......using it as a daily commuter you'd only need about a 175 mile round trip commute. I do a 150 mile round trip commute (not in my vette though). I can see it......

How can ANYONE go around the world "4" times within one year.

Give if the car is a 2004 lets say they bought the car in late 2003 and drove it all of 2004. BUT 100,000 miles in one year.....COME ON?

Was this car a RENTAL?

I'd love to know how you get 98,000 miles in one year, but I supposed if he got one of the first 2004's to come out maybe in July of 03. Say he owned it 18 months which is possible, that is still 5444 miles a month or 181 miles a day. Maybe he like to drive so much that he moved 90 away from work so he could have fun getting to work everyday. Maybe its a 94 instead of an 04.

It may be a situation where with those kind of miles the car was beaten. I would have it thoroughly inspected before buying.
