Default Corsa - Indy or Touring?

Hi, Im new to the forum and have a question on the Corsa Exhaust Systems. I have heared the INDY in person and love the sound. But I am afraid the WOT is a bit too much for me. Has anyone compared the INDY to the TOURING side by side? Do they sound about the same at idle? 60 - 70mph? and how much difference between them at WOT. I know this is subjective i just want a honest opinion. (I think part of me is afraid the Touring will be too quiet). Thanks, i have learned a lot in the last couple of weeks reading this forum and i will try not to ask questions that have been answered several times in the past.

I've got the Corsa Indy w/ X-pipe on my m6 vert. I love the sound. I can keep it quiet enough when I want to but I can also make it talk when I want to. The touring is very similar to stock in sound volume. If you are looking to enhance the sound...go with the Indy.

I was also thinking of using the x pipe with the touring too. You think the Touring is the same overall volume level as stock? will a x pipe make it louder? or just smooth it out?

From my understanding the indy get pretty loud if you put headers on the car with high flow cats, which l will be doing in the near future.
Send me a email if you would like I have a short video of my corsa indy, stock exhaust manifolds and X pipe. at WOT and drive by.

Don't have the compare your looking for, but personnal option, the indy sound sweet. calm at idle and cuirse, aggresive at wot.

I started with the Corsa Tourings and Bassani X-pipe....It was too quiet for my taste ( just a little louder then stock). Then I changed to the Corsa Indy's with the X pipe. They sounded very good...but, for me the sound was in the wrong place. They make a great sound at full throttle (which is great)....but they were too quiet at idle and low RPM. The other thing that I didn't really like about the Corsa's (both sets) was the tone... I prefer more of a rumble. The thing I really liked about the Corsa's was the quality of the tips. In my opinion they are the best looking. Now I have a set of TUBI exhaust on my car....I really like these. They have a nice rumble at idle...and a deep roar at full throttle.

Back to your question. If you like the tone of the Corsa's I would go with the Indy's...the Tourings just don't make a big enough difference in sound. Just my opinion...get whichever exhuat sounds the best to you.

Good luck.

My $.02 are if your stock go with the indy's if you have mods like headers ,cam ,heads, high flow cat's go with the touring .If you have an A4 try it with out the X pipe first it most likely won't pop on decel .If you have MN6 that usually pop on decel I would install the X pipe as well .Although you can always add the x pipe later . The Pro tips are by far the best looking tips .The sound clips give no real idea of the true sound .

I just had the Indies installed and they are awesome sounding! Hardly any noise at cruising speeds, but when I jump on it, you know I am around!

I've got the Indys and love them so much I'm having them removed from my coupe (trading in) and installing them on my Vert! That's how much I love 'em!!

I have the "Touring" with the x-pipe and I think the sound is a perfect balance between the stock system and the "indy" system.

The addition of the x-pipe DID make my system a bit more mellow and took out about 95% of the popping on de-acceleration

Put the Corsa's on last December... GREAT sound. Magnificent at WOT but quieter than the stock at cruse. That's what was advertized... and that is what is delivered. Easy installation. They just bolt on... Tips look great.
I'm sure others are quality too, but I only know the Corsa's. They deliver!
