I was wrong.... The Corsa Touring I recently installed is TOO tame!!
The first couple times out I thought it was going to be OK, that this
exhaust would satisfy my need for good exhaust tone. But after a short
drive today I knew I was fooling myself and it just isn't so. I thought about
doing cutouts but I don't want to go that route... Soooo, I called Chris at
Corvette Garage and ordered a set of Tigershark Indys. Anyone who's
been entertaining thoughts of a Tigershark Touring, I'll probably have one
available in a couple weeks!!
Nice post. I was wondering how much the touring was quieter than the indy. I actually thought about getting the touring, but I guess I'm gonna have to go with the indy's now!
What Mods have you done or are planning to do? I have read some members like the sound after an X pipe and Headers.
What do you mean by tame, are`nt they louder than Stock? Is there any resonnance? Let me know how much you need to get for them..I might be interested.
Sorry to hear that, it's a bitch to spend good money and have to do it again. I entertained the same dilema last summer when I bought my Tigershark system. When I finally decided to go with the Indy's I'd hoped they wouldn't be too loud. I like the looks and the sound. Two friends have now bought the same system after seeing/hearing mine.
Just a thought, contact Corsa and see if you can purchase the Indy "mufflers" instead of an entire system. They are decent people to work with, I've been to the factory met the owner and his son, Jim Jr.

Check my sig, it tells all, I'm done with perf mods
No, they are not really louder than stock except at WOT. There is little to
not resonance at cruise which is fine. Theres just not enought bark when I
hit the gas.
Since there are two folks (so far) interested in the Tourings, I will reply to
this thread with the link to the new thread I'll post under "C5 Parts" listing
them for sale.

Thanks, thats a thought!! But it would be difficult selling just the mufflers. I'll have the whole set doing it this way and be able to recoup a good chunk
of my investment!
to add to borla, borla, borla
gutted precats on a 2 tip stinger is mighty nice and gutting the pre cats will not thow codes i did mine wednesday (cats) and love the end result
The Touring replaced the Stingers I had installed. They were TOO loud!
The resonance I had with my mods was really bad. I didn't realize how
much so till I drove it with the Touring! I'm looking for low resonance, and
a reasonable bark. And besides, Corsa make the best looking tips out there (IMO)!

Ditch the Tigershark Touring, you need loud!! Get the SLP loudmouth's!!! It's only loud for a little while then you go deaf, so it wont bother you any more.
