Does anybody know how to remove small black dust particles that have been trapped on the paint of my car. It is really annoying, thus I was wondering if anybody had any ideas. There are plenty of corvette owners in Los Angeles so I am sure my problem isn't unique by any stretch of the imagination. I am sure the great air quality in LA is to blame.
Clay bar may very well do the trick. You can find lots more info on the clay bar and a host of other info on car care in the Car Care Products section of the Forum. Good luck.

I agree, use a claybar and some detailing spray as a lubricant. Does wonders on the surface of the car.
Clay bars work. I even used one to remove paint overspray that got on my car at work. It pulls contaminants off the surface without removing clearcoat like polishes do.
