Default Damn Zanio... Damn cat...

Pardon my vulgar use of language but I'm a little mad... I was finishing up my LED's in my mirror yesterday and my cat had snuck into the garage with me I guess while I wasn't looking (it was snowing outside for the first time in a while, so the garage door was open for only a few seconds)... Well wouldn't you know I look up right after I finished and my 16lb cat is staring at me while sitting on the wiper cowl . I calmly got out of the car and looked at him, and I think he understood my expression and promptly started to get off the car.
Now I didn't want to startle him so I just sat there waiting patiently for him to get off... Well wouldn't you know, that damn Zaino is so slick, that the cat's feet slipped out from underneath him and those claws dug right in... Well about 1/2 hour worth of scratch removal later I think I've got most of them out, thank god ! Remind me to never use Z-6 again...
I was pissed but it's just a cat so there's nothing I can do about it, but i guess it could have been worse. I'm guess I'm glad he didn't tear my new 3M clear bra...
Well, here's one for the night!

Being that cats make me almost stop breathing due to allergies, my recommendation is to simply GET RID OF THE CAT!

Glad it wasn't too bad Rob ... that's why you never say, "I'm finished ..." LOL. I think these cars cause animals to become retarded or something ... I had someone's dog (about 25 lb Sheltee (sp?) try and Jump onto my hood for no reason at all. He almost made it ... I caught him mid-air

Uh oh ... I hope this turn into another PETA thread.

EDIT: PM's are down Rob.

I have an indoor only cat and I have all her nails clipped often so she doesn't destroy my furniture. She is not declawed, I don't like that (my opinion)

Glad you got the scratches out.

I feel your pain. The day I got my GTO back from the paint shop it's in the garage with the door up. The flat bed pulls out of the driveway and I go in the house to get my duster to wipe the car down. I come back out one or two minutes later and my neighbors cat is sitting on one of the fenders. Now, we live in suburbia and having outside cats can be a real problem. This cat is always into something (like our bird feeder) and the owner (I've talked to them several times) won't do anything. I calmly close the garage door, catch the cat and take him to his owners house and put him in their trash can, lid on. Before you cat lovers go off on me, the cat is fine. I've not seen him in my yard since though.

That little ba$tard scratched the heck out my fender.

put an invisible fence around your car with a shocker collar on the cat! Just kidding - I love animals, not into de-clawing either - just cut the nails......

Cats are not welcomed anywhere on my property. Cats and cars don't mix. My neighbor didn't think it was a problem that their cat was on my cars. Solution: Let dog off the chain every time cat came by ... only required 2 "interventions" ... cat survived .... barely. Cat lovers flame me ... do you know how many cats you can buy for the price of a AE C5?

Rob I feel your pain.

Beleive it or not, for some reason my 65lb Doberman Pincher thougt it would be fun to jump on my hood and tease our other dog.

I couldn't believe it. Luckely I had a car cover on. There were only small scratches in the hood.

Jeff
