Hey BW1
you indeed used the same chrome covers I used...
...and indeed that are a quality porduct!
I guess you agree the material that came with the reflectors was rather cheesy looking...
...I like your idea of powder coating the chrome grid
and the outcome with the 3m reflective tape is terrific!...
Chrome actually does well for StuzVette but your results are outstanding!
...either way...if anyone else is thinking of doing this..
...the mod end requires some creativity with the lens...

That looks how it should have come from the factory. Excellent job making that piece.

That's the nicest compliment I could have received (and actually the look I was after) - made my day!
BTW, I should also give credit to
Vette Essentials , since it is their website instructions (4a & 4b) I used to remove the stock piece. The clip must be transferred to the new piece.

The mod is neat,
HOWEVER- I notice that you reference Mark at VnM
This is the guy that
ripped off Forum Members to the tune of THOUSANDS of $$$$$.
Most of us were under the impression he had LEFT TOWN after the deed of steeling from us.
Did you recently deal with him, or was this done sometime ago?

AC54ME,
This mod was performed in January, and the thread started in February. Feel free to get your powder coating performed anywhere you like.

Thanks for the clarification. Many of us are attempting to track him down - he does not answer telephone calls, or return correspondence sent to him.
Again, your's is a NICE mode - congratulations.
