short throw or rotors?
What do you guys think should be my next purchase? A short throw like a Kirban or Ripper shifter or Sportbrake rotors?

You'll notice the shifter more - get that.

I would say both
Go with the shifter 1st.
You will feel the shifter, the rotors are for looks, I just installed my rotors and they stop the same

Ok - short throw it is. Now to open up a can of worms...........
Which shifter? I tried a friend's Hurst - waaaay to much effort to me.
Are the others any different? Heard that Kirban has less effort.

What springs did he have in the Hurst, and how new was it?
The B&M is the stiffest of them all.
I don't know about the Kirban.
The Hurst is somewhat tailor-able by swapping the springs, and it does tend to loosen up over time.
If you found the Hurst too stiff...you may want to look into the stock C6 shifter, which is a shorter throw and **** height, but without the stiffness,

Shifter is the one you should go for. The rotors are just cosmetic. The shifter is a must have. My .02

Short throws are very nice but I heard they make a TON of noise. So if you dont like interior noise I would NOT recommend getting a short throw.

Shifter. I installed the Hurst recently...no noise at all! Shifts greatly improved!
Rotors are on my "next" list!

Gee, another expert!
No noise from mine, but I used an MGW`****.

I have already shortened it down about 1.5". Looks cool, but still feels like crap.

Shifter for function, rotors for mostly looks. Go for the shifter first.
