No more rusty rotors.....
Got around to installing my rotor hub covers and painting my calipers today. I got frustrated trying to paint around "CORVETTE" on the front though...so I said screw it and painted over it. Next weekend I'll take out the dremel and sand he letters back down.
I've seen better jobs here, but hey......painting ain't really my thing, and they're MUCH better than they were.....so I'm happy!
If you want the lettering to go easier, i bought a paint pen and then went over the letters a few times, if you have some patience, it will look great, i did mine about a year about (black calipers with white lettering)..
Do not use a Dremel tool, just take a razor blade and scrape the paint off. It is by far the easiest way and a Dremel will scar the metal and make it look like crap. BTW...Nice Job

Great advice from both of you.....thanks!!! I'll probably try the razor method and if that doesn't make me happy I'll try the paint pen....

Don't really need to scrape, just "drag" the blade across!
Don't feel bad. Get a razor blade and use it to get all if not most of the paint off the letters. then use a light gret sand paper to finish the job. It is easy and won't take you long at all.
