Default EG's latest C5 Mod...

OK, here's my latest mod. The question remains - do I mount it on the nose, on the rear, interior or not at all?

And feel free to flame away if you think I'm a C6 Poser.

Those that read my threads know that I love the C6 mechanicals and electronics - but I strongly abhor everything about the C6 exterior styling except the new logo. I just love it. I hate the C5 logo with the wax-gathering-always-dirty-hard-to-clean-circle.

Also, should I mount the Type R logo on my Vette?

EG

leave it to you to be the 1st. i don't think you can mount it on the nose because that emblem has 2 holes. since you've got no logo on the rear deck, why not try there?

I agree with the hard to clean and the wax gathering stuff, but come on-no matter what you do it will never be a C-6 and why would want it to be or even imbreed it a little.Just my $.02 but it you don't like the emblems then take them off but don't put the C-6's emblems on it

I hold both of these emblems in the same catagory when it comes to putting them on a C5, imho, they don't belong there. It is like my brother's V6 camero with Z28 stickers (you can't pick you family ).

Now I agree with the stock C5 emblem being a pain to clean around, I have been thinking of buying some more and playing with cutting the circle off of them. I just havn't got around to trying it yet. It would be different, but still C5. Just my $.02.

I am thinking that they need to go on the side pillars of the roof - but the R has to be on top of the flags.

Ir's time to visit your local airbrush wizard and have the (C5) logos airbrushed on. remember that those 2 littles holes will need to be patched first....

there was a black C5 out at corvettesofdallas a while back that a customer was in there buying parts and his emblems had the circles trimmed off them. very neatly done and looked very subtely differnt but looked clean and classy. but that was a C5 logo. i dont like the C6 logo.

I personally wouldn't put them on my car, but what the heck, to each his own. It would be very boring if we were all the same.
