Default Changing Brake Pads

I'm going to change to the GM ceramic pads and add the stainless pad covers. Is there a good DIY site or any lessons learned from others doing this? There's all kinds of clips and stuff that came with the new pads.
Thanks....

If you don't already have them, this is a good time to go to a drilled and slotted zinc coated rotor. You can pick them up pretty reasonable for about $250 for a set of 4. It looks really good.

Oh, to answer your question. They are just like normal cars, except the bolts are torqued to about 120 ft/lbs, a impact wrench will make it much easier but can be done without it. You will have to grind off the little bumps on the back of the pads to install the SS liners. And while you are in there, adjust the parking brake, it has a little star wheel like on drum brakes. Good luck and have fun.

I thought the caliper bracket bolts were torqued to 120ft/lbs but the guide-pin bolts (the only ones needing removal to replace pads) were 23 ft/lbs?
