Default High Miles thread

C5's have been out on the road for quite some time now.. so in order for us all to gauge just how long these engines will last, please post your current high milage and if the car is stock or modified. If it is modified, please let us know what you have done to it and how the car currently runs. Also let us know (if you can) how you maintained the vehicle along the way. (oil changes and such)

TIA,

VR

1997 coupe...only 47,000 miles but 0 problems. I have a buddy with
a 92 Suburban that he bought new....it has over 350,000 miles and never been cracked open. The 350's engines run forever if properly maintained.

63k on our '99 MN6 Coupe: Blackwing, Magnaflow X-Pipe, Z06 Exhaust, NGK Iridium Plugs; GM Performance Wires; Y2K High-Polished Rims w/GY GS-D3s; drilled/slotted rotors w/Z06 calipers & pads. Car was used as a DD most of its life + circuit course time @ Summit Point until we adopted her a year ago with 59k on the clock - no major problems (onboard receiver replaced; trans. cooler hose just replaced).

'00 coupe with 25.5K miles on it. Maintenance has just included normal oil/filter changes, plus the coolant has been changed. No real mods to speak of other than a Blackwing and B&B exhaust.

Stock 99 FRC just rolled 40K. Previous owner passed down "Leaking battery issue", he installed a new battery but didnt clean up the damage...... figure it went for about six months.....BCM throws "communication" codes however nothing in history. I get Service Vehicle soon message everytime I drive it, RESET and keep on driving going to "curley" the grounds see it that fixes the messages.
