Default Where does this go? Help!

I removed my radiator cover to paint it and a rubber block with a half inch curved slit molded in it fell out from somewhere and went bouncing across the floor. Now I'll be darned if i can figure out where it was? Can anyone help? Thanks.

It goes under the cover and on top of the line on the right side of the radiator. Push the cover into the opening on the rubber and it just sets there. Hope this helps.

Is there one or two of them? I had one fall off, and I was looking for the second, but can't find it to save my life...I guess I better start looking huh?

I think there is only one. When I took that pic this morning I wondered the same thing. Didn't see one laying around anywhere. The only thing I know I dropped somewhere is one of the pins that hold the bridge. Haven't looked for it yet.

I have an extra if you dont find it.

I must be blind, stupid or both.

Explain to me what to look for and how to replace it. I have NOT taken off anything so it just "fell out."

Cajundude, thanks for the picture, that is exactly what I needed to see. That rubber "block" stuck on the edge. Mine even has the dimple with the metallic residue in it. Thanks man! See? Another reason to own a Vette.........this forum!

Man I've had one sitting beside me for two years!!!! I found it on the driveway one morning and haven't thrown it out. So it goes on the drivers side? Could you take a picture of it with the shroud installed? This place is great.

Look for the other - there are two (2) of them.

Mine only had one on the passenger side. Even after re-installing it after painting the cover,
I am not sure what good it does!

Put mine back together last night and this is the place. It protects the AC line from the radiator cross support. It probably keeps the two from rattling together as well.
