I just depends on if you want to be deaf, or just hard of hearing in a year.
GHLs are loud. Cut and paste idle clip below

I think I would just stick the high flow cats on - would at least quiet the car down a bit to where it is bearable.

I have Kook's 1 3/4 long tube headers with high flow cats and X-pipe and my GHL bullets are loud. Sounds great so if you have the cats use them.

I have the FLP's with the swappable CATS and the GHL 4" Quads. When I did the install I put the off road pipes on "Just to see" It is louder for sure, and without the CATs you get a good amount of resonance at 1750ish rpm - especially with the top up. BUT the sound at WOT is AMAZING.

I've had my GHLs with factory cats for nearly two years. They are louder than factory exhaust, but I would not concider them LOUD. I think on the scale of 1 to 10 in loudness... compared to other aftermarket cat back products... I would give the GHLs a 4 on the loudness chart.

I got the EXACT set up...no cats....
Car is not quiet, but not what I or any passengers call "loud"..

Most people tell me my car sounds awesome & ask what I'm running..
I don't think cats vs no cats is gonna make that much of a difference in sound..

The decision is gonna be if you need the cats for emissions inspection or not.. If you don't, then obviously, no cats.. better power, less restriction.

If you do, or feel you may sell the car &^ not having the cats is gonna be detrimental, then, get them..

But sound wise, cats vs no cats are nominal....

----these bullets are that loud???? a sports car must sound good, thats a given.i had no idea these systems were that loud.i will but the cats on and give it a go.i think the Random Tech cats flow 400 cfm,so they can't kill that much rear wheel.thks for feedback...
