Caravaggio and Vette Essentials
Ken explained this to me. If you were to assign a numeric value to each level of General Motors interiors, a Chevrolet, being the cheapest brand of GM car, would be a 1, a Pontiac would be a 2, a Oldsmobile (before they died) would be a 3, a Buick would be a 4 and a Cadillac would be a 5.
Vette Essentials is staffed by ex-GM interior engineers. What they do is replicate the Corvette interior using the same materials that you'd get if Cadillac designed the interior. That's what you see on his web-site and that's what's normally priced.
HOWEVER...there's nothing stopping them from going even higher. They can use Connelly leather for example, just like a Jaguar....if you want to pay for it. He'll do just about anything you want and make just about any custom accessory that you want...assuming you have the money to pay for it. And he'll do it with the skill, knowledge and experience of a factory trained engineer.
Of course, this means that the particular item will cost substantially more, but probably no more than Carvaggio would charge for the same thing.
So if I wanted something really special, I'd at least run it by Ken before I ordered from Carvaggio. I'd get a quote and see which one I could get the better deal from on the same item.
