All advice was given in the previous thread, only circles from there. Did you contact the seller yet? The ball is in your court. Oh yea, forget the idea of mods for compensation, as that would only hurt you in the long run.
That's strange I bought a 98 mitsu spyder off ebay and flu down to Texas last year to pick up the car. The dealer did not have the title and gave me $600 USD to fly back home he said he would ship the car to me free of charge. Well I found out they have 20 days to get the clean title. There was a problem and he refunded me my money.Texas has some tough laws. look in to it.
Hey man, i'm so sorry to hear about the car. The reason it was locked is because this forum has specific guide lines for how to deal with issues with forum venders.
So best of luck with our situation! It's between you and your vendor for now!
Chris
Don't let the underage comments get to you, there's a few folks on this forum that haven't realized that a 20 year old can easily afford a 20+ thousand dollar car.
PS. please do us all a favor and get your car replaced or at least bought back.
I was watching the other thread and have read it all.
Now I have to chime in.
There is this little saying that someone told me once when I was being a pu$$y about a life changing situation.
"Stand up OR SUFFER."
It is time for you to stand up for yourself. Your whole life may change if you just take a stand. IF you wallow in the "but I want my car" BS, you will be what you are.
I would strongly recommend that you send a PM to either a moderator or one of the admins. The management frowns on posting questions like this publicly when you can obtain a direct answer from those who made the decision to lock your thread. Good luck.
No I don't think it will as I bought mine from a GM dealer and we still don't know were you got yours from. Do somthing about it. But I think you can't.
I thought this forum was to talk about our Vettes, Mods, the good, the bad,The ugly! If someone still wanted to post to this guys thread they should be able to. It's closed when no one wants to post. I mean come on now who's to say when it's time to close? I love this forum, lots and lots of info but to close a thread just because? remember the " I got my wheels stroked" thread? now all the posts there are just about the same and it's been open for a long time .wich it should be, people are still reading it. I might be missing something here so please fill me in. thanks all, I hope I didn't **** anyone off but ?
Apparently this is funny to you. Maybe one day it will happen to you and you will then know how I feel. I dont appreciate your humor right now.
You, my friend, must be a glutton for punishment, because that's all you're gonna get until you stop whining about 1. the car 2. the thread being locked and 3. other members who make light of the whole situation.
Hard lesson for you to learn, but at least it most likely won't happen to you in the future.
Take the advice given here and begin steps to get rid of that car and get your money back (or the bank's money).
From the many statements made it seems awefully clear that you've overstepped your financial ability. Sure, as you said, there are 20 somethings that can afford to buy a Vette...not very many....and if you are using yourself as an example...well, let's see...you're out of work, out of money, and moving....not what I would call being able to "afford" a car like this. See, you have to also have money for everything else in life. You spent it all on your car...and ouch...we all know where that money went.
Get rid of it and buy your Vette when you can afford it, and all that life will try to throw at you....a lesson very few 20 somethings have learned yet....
