I love my c5 so much im thinking about getting one as a daily driver ya know just back and forth to work keep it outside its so fun to drive that it hurts not getting to drive my car during the winter months and bad weather just seing if anyone has one like this do you car if it gets dinged or do you freak out also is it going to end up costing me alot of cash to run a c5 like that.........
IMHO, you can never own too many Vettes and there's no wrong way to own or drive a C5 as long as you keep it between the ditches and out of the lake (if you've seen those pictures here from time to time).
You AC guys crack me up I would start with the fact that we live in the state with the highest insurance rates.....cost you more as a daily driver. Yea, I would think. Then think about doubling up on mods (you know you will ) and then all the extra Zaino.....yep more expense for sure.
If you can afford it ..... damn, go for it. I would love to have one for each season.
of course i know do it if i can im talking about the hold up of the car im looking at a car with 60,000 miles on it are there alot of repair kind of things what do i look for its a auto it wasent been cared for you guys think its a wise move to invest in something like this????
THe wife and I ,or mainly me ,is thinking the same thing, but she said she doesnt want 2 vettes for what ever reason. She has her eye on a SLK350 ,so if she gets that I get the vette for my DD. She drives the vette now and says she still will want to if she gets the SLK,might just save a few bucks and find a nice used C5 for me,I dont think 2 vettes is enough ,much less too many.

Nothing wrong with having two (or more) Vettes and using one as a daily driver. They work just fine for that purpose. I'd probably still want to take good care of her, but if you drive it, you'll get little dings and scratches. If it's what you want, go for it and enjoy.
