"Touchy" brakes
Real Newbie question.........I drove and fell in love with an 02 black coupe with z51 option and 16,000 miles........I have a question? The brakes seemed to be quite sensitive, that is, very little pedal pressure was required, at the first stop light I pushed on the pedal like I was driving my Intrigue and it stoped very QUICKLY!!! In fact I was thankful for the seat belt. Is this normal for a C5 of this model year? Thanks
The first time I hit the brakes......I said "oh, yeah!"

I wish all my cars stopped like the Vette. I really love that instant feed back. Soft pedals are for the luxury cars. It's amazing how they can design brake feel for different style cars. But if your driving a car that does 175 out of the box you want instant feed back and stopping power.
