I also sent an email to about 40 members of my Corvette club, telling them about the decals. Hope you don't mind lots of publicity...
Bob
Ah yes, I'm sure the traditional Corvette club owners will be happy to place this decal on their car. Maybe even next to all the show decals they put on their outside edges of their windshield obstructing the view!
They are clear decals with white screened text. This is NOT the actual size. They are 6.25" long by 1" high.. just enough to get the message out there! Thanks guys!
That looks pretty dinky.. Where would you stick it?
Mark
Mark, they are just big enough to get the message out. Not to big to be too much... clear with white text works very well. Maybe someone can share any story related to the decal??
i cannot believe a couple of the previous posts. are you stoned? rolling hypocracy? that is as idiotic an argument as some people saying we should ban guns because they kill people. your car is no different. your car, your gun, doesn't kill people. it's what you do with it.
it's more than just a ticket, many states have serious fines and penalties for street racing. not to mention what will happen to your policy when your insurer finds out.
when i go to the track, even in that controlled environment, even with people that have been on track numerous times before, i'm always leery. i'm no mind reader, i don't know what other people are thinking. even on the track where presumably everyone is there to go as fast as they can, you still have to maintain safe margins and exercise some caution.
throw all that into a street race with people toting their rug-rats to soccer practice and granny going to pick up her prescription...
just damn.
you didn’t make a point if you put a sticker on your gun that says stop gun violence then it would be more along these lines.
You have a corvette not a civic, its made to go fast on the street track just about anywhere, yes racing on the street can be dangerous but going 100mph anywhere isn’t really all that safe.
Very few people get hurt in street racing, very small % of actually auto accidents, why not lets start having mandatory test for the older folks to see how good their reflexes are... prob most should not be driving at all. Ill get the stickers made up, I can see it now
