What are you using to fill the space behind your seats and under the vert top's storage compartment lid?
I need something there to keep the wind out but that will still let the rear speakers be heard. What I've seen so far are sound blockers that are inserted into that space.
I'm not real sure what you are talking about but I'm now waiting for the delivery of my partition which seperates the "trunk area" from the area required when the top it down. It works great to reduce road/exhaust noise.
Many around here use various partitions. Home made or from vendors. I have not changed mine. Sometimes I run with the trunk open about an inch. With a home made mod. This allows the air to flow through. While topless I just turn the radio up a little more. Enjoy
I've already got the trunk partition on order from Dan.
That partition, however, separates the top storage area from the trunk.
There is still the issue of the open space under the storage compartment lid and the front of this partition.
Here's is what one vendor is selling. Was wondering if anyone has seen anything else that might plug this hole but still allow you to hear the rear speakers.

When the wind noise bothers me too much I put my windows up about 1- 1.5 inches. I've found that most of the wind noise is from the air hitting the upper seatbelt mounts. Try it.

I have the wcc two piece set and can tell you it keeps stuff ok in the trunk and does'nt have much effect on the rear speakers, but with the top down stuff in the cockpit still blows around once you reach 90 - 100 mph. I just purchased the vette net and can't wait to try it once it warms up some they claim it eliminates the cockpit buffeting

I had the Sound Killers on my vert. They looked nice but there are drawbacks. Not only do they kill the sound from the rear but also the rear speakers. Also, they are a pain when you raise or drop the top as you have to adjust them because they attach to the vert cover.
I decided to try the partition from Dan @ Exotic Vette as mention above and really like the product better that the Sound Killers. The only issue I have had so far is the velcro that attached to the horizontal bar that hold the partition has come loose. Not a big problem but I will have to re-glue it. I still recommend it highly.
