Chrome hood struts
OK,I have seen the hood strut chrome covers but has anybody found chrome struts and if so, where? I am not too fond of the black tops if I use the covers.

It's not an actual strut - but a chrome cover that goes over the strut.....

that is what I have and when you need to replace your struts you can reuse them.

how bout red?
I have a few red pieces and parts in my engine bay and just popped off my struts, primered and painted my struts red......they look great.
You can get the chrome covers off of MidAmerican, or Ecklers.

The reason I am looking for chrome struts is I have chrome hinges and would like to have the top of the struts chromed where they meet the hinge.
Anybody else?

I have never seen the tops that were not black....even my chrome ones have a black top.
