Well, keeping with his word, Rob over at Proform in Ellicot City MD designed a new pattern for my 3M paint protection! Originally, the pattern used was designed by Xpel, who does most of the kits in the country. When applied, there was a straight line across the hood which didn't flow with the car (for those with it you know what I'm talking about)... Well, Rob had his partner out in Las Vegas design a better hood and fender pattern a few days ago and it really flatters the car now. I was impressed to say the least. And the best part was it was done at NO CHARGE! He even did my mirrors again becuase he didn'yt like them and is going to redo the bumper now becuase he says there are too many seems... So in two weeks he'll have a new pattern for it and here we go again!
Here's a few pics.
Hood swoop
Fender being applied, look close and you can see the film not yet applied and how much it rakes back
Fender done... look close and you'll see the film
I would recommend the film and especially Rob to anyone, he's great and does awesome work!
$1200, but for that I got the bumper, hood, fenders, door edges, kick panels, rear trunk piece (1" strip), door handles, mirrors, wheel wells, headlights and running lights, plus a lifetime warranty on the material. And if a rock does go through and chip the paint, he'll have the film taken off, the chip fixed, and the film reapplied for free... now that's piece of mind!
