Default Car covers

Im getting a brand new custom paint job on the vettster and was looking into investing in a car cover. It will be used mostly in the garage and, sometimes outside use. I'm looking in my ecklers mag and the Two tone stormshield car cover by coverking cought my eye; the one that is very snug looking and is a two tone color. Anyone have this cover like it or should i look at another type?

I sure love my Weathershield. I have had it for about 1 1/2 years. My cars sleeps in it at night (only have a carport) and if the weather is nice and I drive it to work, I cover it there to. I fold it very carefully, folding the nose end halfway to the top and the rear halfway to the top. This ensures only the inside touches the inside and the outside touches the outside. I roll it up in about a minute and cover it in about 20 seconds. I do it the same way each time and have a good routine down. My paint is flawless but I never put the cover on when the car is remotely dirty or dusty. I have home machine washed it about 6 times and it still works just like it did when it was brand new. Folds up very compactly too. Good luck with your decision.

most car cover manufacturers tell you that you should not cover a car for a couple of months after a paint job-this may be a liability disclaimer....

I have a custom fit NOAH that I love, it locks on and only takes seconds to install. I order it from covercraft and got free shipping. Keeps my car dry if it rains, and cool in the sun.

I had this cover and it was very good - fit extremely well and was a heavy material. Just be sure to put it on a clean car - otherwise you run the risk of scratching the paint with any dust that may be on the car.

I have the Stormshield car cover you are referring to in the Red and Black colors. My car spends time outside in the driveway and this cover keeps most of the water and dirt off of the car. It seems to be a very good cover. My only concern is that it does stand out like a sore thumb and scream "look at me, I am a Corvette under a cover". It stands out so much my neighbor called me up and asked me if he could borrow it to go parachuting. Being your car is mostly in the garage, it will look great and you won't have to worry about it standing out so much.

This is my Stormshield cover.

It's a darn good match with my Nassau Blue coupe too. I'm still trying to sell it though. PM me if anyone wants to make any offers.
