Three weeks ago I ordered a smoothie front and rear license plate surround kit painted Lt. Pewter from KEWL AUTO. I ordered it directly from Greg Brown, KEWL owner by phone. I have not received it yet, but their site does say to allow 3 weeks for delivery. My problem is that is there is no way to track a KEWL order via their online system and it seems nearly impossible to get through to them via the telephone. I just want to be sure these guys are bonafide sellers. Has anyone dealt with them? Thanks.
I am sorry that you are having an issue with KEWL. I strongly suggest that you call Greg (owner) to voice your concern.
As a not, I have delt with Greg for over 5 years, and never have had an issue in the numerous dealings with him.
You mostly answered my question. I wasn't sure if I was having a problem with them. It was just taking a while to get my product from them and I simply could not seem to get through to them via the phone. I even tried email two days ago and got no response. But I just got through to Greg's phonemail system and left him a message. Greg seemed like a great guy to deal with over the phone when I first ordered and I'm sure he is. He must have a small operation that is just not suited to prompt customer service. Thanks for your reply. I'll just hold my horses and wait for my order to be fulfilled.

I've not dealt with KEWL either - but in many ways, like Vette Essentials, many of these vendors are relatively small shops dealing in high quality products, made by and for enthusiasts. They don't have a sophisticated web ordering process or a call center with a bank of operators taking the call.
I would be a little more patient. If they said "allow three weeks for delivery" I would give that and a little more before I'd consider the transaction a problem.....jmho, of course!

Appreciate your opinion and advice. I've owned my first Vette for less than a month now and for most of that time it's lived in the dealer's shop. So, I'm not that familiar with the vendors and just wanted to be sure I haven't been duped. I am in NO WAY trying to spread bad press about these guys, I'm sure they are fine and I just need to chill. Thanks again.
I have dealt with KEWL on two occasions with NO problems.
Greg is a small business and does good work. I have been happy with both my orders from him. These parts are painted to order most of the time and that adds to the shipping time.
Call Greg or LuAnn. If the lines are busy or not answered, keep trying. I think that they are a small operation and are the chief cooks and bottle washers. I have a full load of engine upgrades from them and am very happy with their high quality. Be patient - you will like what you get.

I've bought a lot of painted engine components from Greg. Great guy to deal with, they produce quality work, and while they are kind of hard to get through to, I have always found that they called me back. Hope you get your parts soon. Leave a message and tell them your concerns.

I've had a ton of custom stuff made by KEWL (including some pending) and Greg is first rate. You'll get your stuff; somtimes it just takes a little bit longer.
Yes, I got my plate frames in last week and they look great. It took about 3 1/2 weeks to get them. I had no problem getting them on the phone (kkep in mind they are on the west coast) and they told me when I would receive my shipment.
I got the front smoothie from him a couple months ago. Remember, unless you get lucky and he has one of your color laying around, all his work is custom. If you have an "unusual" color it could take awhile. I was lucky as I got a beautiful MSG frame in about a week.
