Can someone explain the basic premise of turning the traction control to competition mode. Does it just kick in later and not interfere with tire slippage until it gets out of control? Thanks

Starting the car and hitting the button once turns off active handling and traction control. Holding the button down turns off traction control only, but leaves A/H on - COMPETITIVE MODE.
The idea is if you were drag racing, autocrossing, etc. and want wheel spin without the T/C intruding, but keeping the A/H active for control.
