Lost Z06
Guys know this is not the proper place but I need your help to recover my 02 Z06. Car was stolen out of grage 03/07 last seen in Arlington, Texas Texas Plate Numer N56JSR. If you see it contact the proper authorities immediately. There as been an alert put out by Keller Texas Police Department to be on the look out for a Elertron Blue Matallic 2002 Z06 with the above plate. This brodcast went out to all 48 states.

I had my 2002 Silver Z06 stolen Jan 5th in Dallas of Texas Instaments parking lot.
The detective I spoke with told me that a lot of Corvettes are stolen out of the Dallas and Houston areas. He said they normally are driven around the corner, stirped of low-jack/onstar etc, plates are changed, and it is driven into Mexico same day, once there they are stripped of VIN's, and issued valid (yeah, valid my ***, that is what I said) Mexican titles. At that point they are sold to importers in Asia, and Europe. They are then Shipped to thier new owners 100% legit, title and all. Here is what AMAZED me, he said from the time the car is stolen, to the time it is shipped out can be as quick at 4 days.

I feel for your loss and am thankful that it has/did not happene to me. I thought TX was safe for Z's......obviously not!!!
I bought my Z from DK Wholesalers( Dalas) in OCT 2003 and had it shipped to NJ, where is was parked outside in the snow for 2 months till I could get it garaged....After getting very pissed of by the insurance companies in NJ. I drove it back to Houston. Now it is in Guam.
I hope you have a good insurance company....and get a shinny new C6 Z!!!

You're going to have to wait 30-60 days befor the ins. company will declare it totalled and pay you for it... Hopefully it's a quick find or it's gone forever and you can get a new one.

Z06 returns Home. Car recovered in San Angelo Texas. Thanks to the work of the San Angelo Police Department. Officer ran plates on Wedneday night and placed the car in the inpound, picked it up Fridayand appears to be ok except for the rear tires were used up. Thank to all for your replys.
