Default Max Flow Mas Air Sensor????

Can anybody tell me if this is a good mod for a 98 C5 (A4) with a throttle body bypass together with one mode together!

I have $500.00 bucks to blow and was just probing WCC!

Your help is needed here!

I suggest you check it out first. I added a high flow Granatelli MAS and it kept causing my check engine light to fire. The computer determined that the engine was running way too lean (due to the increased air, I assume). I put the stock MAS back on and no problems.

Don't waste your money. The stock MAF and airbridge flow enough to suppoert at least 400HP.

to a degree - it would depend if you have done other mods that a MAF would benefit from.

I'd rather spend the money on tuning software and toss the MAF (speed density).

Put a VaraRam or a Blackwing, or an exhaust. Better yet, do the ziptie mod, and an exhaust. Good for 15rwhp at least. Aftermarket MAF = lean AFR and maybe codes.

I have done the Varaam 2b, BBK shorty Headers, Throttle Body Bypass, Borla Quad Stinger with Borla X Pipe. Just was wondering if this would add up horsepower like a copound interest effect with the other mods!

So still toss it huh!

Surely i can do a good bold on for 500.00! A dyno tune is scheduled for July!

I wouldn't waste my money on a MAF. Many people have had a lot of trouble with them.

Since you have a '98 A4, I would get an LS6 intake manifold/ FAST intake manifold or save some more dough and get rear gears and torque converter.

No, the mods will not simply add up horsepower. But, the intake and exhaust mods will compliment each other very well.
