Default FRC Leaking

I just bought my first Vette. It is a 99 FRC. The water collects in the drivers floorboard. I bought the car at CARMAX and luckily it is under warranty. Does anyone have any idea where this is coming from. The door seal and windshield seal seem fine. Any tips would be appreciated.

Congrats on the purchase. I have a 99 FRC and I have some pretty sever leaks too. I am in the process of fixing one in the trunk compartment. Take a look at the following TSBs:

If the seals appear fine and water is collecting in the driver's side floorboard, check the 2 drains under the cowling between the brake booster and the hood latch. These ca get clogged with leaves and other debris and case the leak you are describing.

I have a 99 FRC and while I try my best to keep her out of the rain, I've never had a drop of water inside the car while washing. Hope you find the problem. I'm sure it's an easy fix.

Default Water leak in driver’s side floor.

My 2002 Z06 had a water leak in the area of the driver’s side front floor. After driving in the rain or washing the Z06 the carpet would be wet. I found when I washed it and drove up my steep driveway to the street water would drop onto my clutch foot. A rubber grommet in front of my clutch pedal in the firewall was half in and half out. You could have someone take a flashlight into the engine compartment and shine it at the firewall and if you got down low inside the car on the drivers side you could see light coming through the firewall at the loose grommet. It was an easy fix of reseating the grommet.
