Default Chrome Air bridge

Hi,

I'm looking to buy a chrome air bridge for my 2000. Anyone know who sells them. Is there any problem with performance changing this part to chrome plated plastic? Thanks in advance.

also seen it....my concern is how it would hold up with time due to temperature changes....couldn't this lead to spiderwebbing or cracking?

Design Specialties used to sell them, but they are no longer in business.

The above ebay link may be your only option if you want one right now, these are quite hard to find.

http://www.advancedplating.com is the plating shop that Design Spec used. You can contact them directly and send them your bridge to be plated...but be advised, the turnaround time will be quite long, figure a month minimum.

No problems at all with peformance and durability, and the look is

If you can find one in aluminum any plater can chrome it for you. Then you can tighten it, or whatever to heart's content.

All the best.

Advanced Plating does all of my things. The parts there now 8-10 weeks. Really nice work!
