Are the Bassani cat backs and x-pipes quality products? Does anyone have this sytem on their Vette and do you like them? I don't see them mentioned very much. Or would it be better to go with GHL cat backs and x-pipe? Thanks in advance.

I have the Bassani X-pipe on mine and it does a good job. I put it on to help with the resonance and popping I was getting with my B&B Route 66s - it sure helped with those two problems.
Do a search on 'Bassani' and you'll find my post and the replies I got from several CF members that have this system. It has it's own unique sound and isn't overly loud (if that's what you want). I've researched them and they make a high quality product that I don't think you'd be dissapointed with. You can also check their web site out and call their toll free number. Excellent technical help and they'll even e mail you information.

My Bassani x-pipe appears to be good quality but it didn't match my '00 system very well. We had to make some corrections and find additional bolts to get it to work. I was disappointed with all the extra work involved. If I had to do over agaiin, I'd just get a much cheaper x-pipe and be done with it.
