My turn signals are experiencing an intermittant problem (2001 m6 coupe). The manual states that the turn signal relays are located in the hazard switch assembly located center console just below the upper dash pad.
When I firmly 'tap' the top of the dash above the hazard switch, the turn signals start to work.
Has anyone delt with this before? If so, was this a relay or possible connector problem? Also, any removal tips for removing the upper dash pad is appreciated.
I am surprized no one answered you yet, but yes the hazard switch is known to cause turn signal problems. If I remember correctly the switch itself isn't overly expensive, but the folks that have changed them have indicated that the replacement itself requires patience.
