Default Soon to be

Soon to be an owner of my 1st Corvette. My wife & I are flying to Las Vegas Wed. from Phx to pick up a 2002' Blk Z06 with red mod int. chrome wheels & 9,100 mi. for $33,500. Seems like a decent deal. Should be a fun cruise home, can't wait.

Sounds like a good deal and black w/ mod red is a color combo.

Ouch, a black used Vette from Hot Nevada no less. Be prepared to see swirls and imperfections in the paint.

Not necessarily. My vette was a black used vette with 18k miles on it when I picked it up (from Hot Arizona) and the paint job was immaculate. I will agree that black is an absolute B!TCH to keep clean and swirl-free, although nothing shines up quite as nice.

Make sure all the accessories are in the car including the flat tire inflator kit. It should be in the passenger side cubby in the trunk. Don't leave the dealer w/o it. First it could get you out of a messy situation should you get a flat in the middle of no where and second they are pricey - around $400.

In fact I'd call the dealer before you leave home and ask him to inventory all the accessories for you. Things like:

2 key's with fob's
Owners manual and Video
Flat tire repair kit

Good luck and when you get home we'll help you spend all your money on mods.

Cheers and have a safe trip home.

Tom
