I know I'm opening up another can of worms here, but has anybody used the Exide Orbital as a replacement for their OEM battery?

I used one in a big block C3 for about 3 years with no problems. I think the big block was a good test bed for the Exide as it needs a stout battery to turn it over...

I've seen a few members mention they went with the Orbital in the Red Top threads. I am sure they will chime in. I will be getting one soon.

and having an additional mfgr to this technology.

BTW, Sams Club carries the Orbital...

Installed the Exide Orbital a year ago. No problems to date. I can start it and take it out at least every couple of weeks here, so haven't needed the battery tender this past winter.

Price was good, great warranty, satisfied so far.
