Hey fellas, Im new here and like this place alot. Anyway I have a 2004 z06 thta was dynoed at 584HP and I need way more agressive tires to keep this thing down, I am looking into Hoosier 315-35-18's for the rear which are High performance on road racing tires and not drag tires and for the front I am going to stay with the stock size but go with the hoosiers also, my question is what tires have you had great success with? But I would like to stick with my size choice of 315's so does anyone know any good tires in this size that are possibly better than the hoosiers for all around performance? I dont drive it in the rain only when caught in it, so that is not a big issue with me! Thanks a ton for your help fellas.
Hoosier does not make a tire that they recommend for the street
racing only
You might put 18x11 or 18x12 wheels on the back, and go with the Kumho Ecsta V700 335/30/18 in the rear, and 275/40/17 in the front
with so much power, you do not want to mix tires. The Kumho has 6/32 of tread, so it can kind of work for shallow water driving on a veryvery very limited basis. You would die on the Hoosiers, unless they were the wet radials.
