I'm reading All Corvettes are Red by James Schefter
I found this quote interesting, it is from Wayne Cherry in early 1993, when he took over for Chuck Jordan. It was said during a patio review for the new C5 body style; in reference to a design that came out of ACC...
"...it looks like it's smiling at me, Cherry said. When I look in my rearview mirror and see a Corvette comming up, I want to be overpowered. I don't want a friendly Corvette smiling at me!"
Kind of interesting I thought, he must not have made it to the C6 review
Peace

So he wants to be dominated from behind? Interesting. Makes me feel dirty everytime I pass someone.

The quote is accurate, but let's be clear that he was looking at a prototype and they changed it so it would NOT be smiling.
People will/might start to come around to the C6, I agree...
But comparing the change from the C4 to the C5 is not
even in the same ballpark as comparing the C5 to C6 transition...
