I recently purchased an aluminum open car hauler that has a solid deck, for hauling my car to the track. I would appreciate any tips on tie down products and tie down procedures. Thanks.

Get a set of the tie down loops that fit into the jacking slots and then cross both the front and rear. That is how I haul my car on both the open and closed trailer. If I remember (age thing) I got the tie down hooks at Harbor Freight.
Trailered my '28 Model A for years (hence 28Tudor) Don't listen to all the help & shoutin when backing up....Start straight, put your hand at the bottom of the steering wheel, have the mirrors set right, and just move your hand in the direction you want the trailer to go... Piece of cake,Be careful, don't tow too fast. it'll be great..
