Newbie question.......
Hello all,
I have got a new guy question for you. I have had my Buick Grandnational for many years, and love the car but I think it may be time to buy a C5. My question is around body style and transmission configurations. Did they make a C5 coupe (Z06 style, but not an actual Z06) in an automatic? I will be looking for an A4 car, and I like the body style with the trunk the best.

So you'll be looking for a pre-'01 FRC.

The FRC (Fixed Roof coupe) came out in 1999 and carried through to 2000. In 2001 the Z06 was introduced utilizing the FRC bodystyle.
There has never been a factory A4 available with that bodystyle - either as the FRC or the Z06.

The hardtop Corvette (Z06 styling) only comes in a manual transmission. If you want an automatic, you have to go with either the coupe or the convertible.
