Anybody painted their Z06 screens? I was thinking about painting mine black... but I wanted to see how they look and/or get some opinions first. Please post photos if you have done this. All feedback is much needed. These are going on my C5-R project so they are slightly different then your stock screens.. Also what do you guys feel about adding the box screen around the center opening? The real C5-Rs use them to keep debrie out... but I don't know if it will look too cheap on my car out on the streets... any feedback?
I think it would look great. If you do it, be sure to post some photos. I was considering doing the same thing. I figured some regular ol' cheap spray paint would do it. Is that what you had in mind?
Before I installed mine, I spray painted them to match the car. I got the touch-up paint from my dealer. It's held up very well. I think powder coating would be even better.
I don't have pictures...sorry.
Your car is so badA$$... have I ever told you that? What did you use to paint them? How well has it held up? Thanks!

Thanks for the compliment! Coming from a guy who is undertaking a project of the magnitude of yours, it means alot!
When I first painted them, I used some crap spray paint I found in my basement. It didn't hold up that well. When I had my hood and rear facia installed, my body guy sanded and re-shot them for me. They are holding up much better now.
