try reseting it by holding the lock and unlock buttons down til it beeps (about 15 sec or so). Do you hear anything when you try to lock the doors? Do you have a second remote, and if so, does it act the same?

If you try to lock the doors manually, do they sound like everything is working just fine? If so, it is probably the remote - may have a bad connection on the button that controls the door locks.
