I tried that but I can only turn easy entry on or off not memory on or off. I purchased the car used and every time I lock and unlock it it returns to the original memory positon for that FOB

Get the seat in the position you want, look on the back of the key fob for a "1" or "2", and press and hold down either 1 or 2 on the top of the pad on the driver's door until the yellow light blinks. This will enter a new memory setting (yours) for the seat...at least I think it works like that. The owner's manual should give you the correct procedure.

You can also program a third position by holding down both 1 & 2 at the same time. Once you see the led blink at you you can let go of the buttons. Let us know how you do.

Sometimes ours malfunctions and will not go the programed position. When that happens sometimes all of the seat controls stop functioning. It pis*es me off, because our Chrysler works first time, every time, never had a problem. Oh well, what do you expect for a 50K car.

Yeah it's not his technique, fellas, some of the memory gets 'elderly' to put it nicely. No matter the order of door/key/seat button, etc.

Just need a new seat module probably or track. I was going to get to it this winter but my 6K/mo house habit (winter=outdoor mod time here in FL) is killing me. Almost done. At least it's worth 2x what I paid 2 years ago. But I digress.

Maybe I'll post the 'memory loss' fix this winter.

Later,
