wheel help... offset question.

wheel help... offset question.
I know what offset is.... 
I am looking at some repro-wheels and I am a little concerned about the offset.
A Chrome set of Z06 wheels in stock C5 sizes are listed as:
17x8.5 58mm
18x9.5 65mm
Another type that I am looking at says:
17x8.5 56mm
18x9.5 57mm
I just want to make sure that these wheels arent going to look goofy and stick out too far or something like that...
yes, I realize that the offset is only different by about a third of an inch... but I just want to make sure I wont run into any problems. I dont want to buy wheels twice.
