Default Memory Issue

I'm back with another seemingly simple question if I had the owner’s manual but alas I do not. I have programmed my key FOB to open my doors, trunk, etc. However when I get into the car and put my key in the ignition it adjusts the seats forward and moves the steering column away. First does the memory only control the seat or does it do the steering column, mirrors, and seat? And last how do I go about setting the memory so when I get in the car I do not need to keep adjusting it every time?

Thanks

after you get in and adjust the seat and the steering wheel you have to hit the memory button on the drivers door. you would use the numer 1 or 2 that is the same as the remote. This will set the seat, sterring wheel and radio station. Also if you hold both down I beleive that you can make a 3rd setting

Good Luck

Tom

Before you get into the car alway press the FOB to tell the computer which setting to use even if the car is unlocked. The memory setting will control the radio setting, climate control, mirrors, seat and telescopic.

PM me your email and I will send you a PDF of the 2000 owners manual.
