I've seen a lot of out of state cars with those stick on dealer tags but I've never seen a California dealer do it. Only the hokey dealer plate frames.

Sinful....
I've asked this before and nobdy knew the answer. I can't find the answer myself anywhere. Is there a law in California that prohibits dealer tagging? I have never once seen a California dealer logo on a car, only out-of-state cars. Whether there is or not, at least this state has done something right.

Probably a Prof...
It is probably owned by an older Professor who is not "with it"-see if there is a Motor Club or AARP decal on the car, if so he needs to know it's not a chick magnet! Try and help him out if you can.
Mine had one when I bought it, right in the center by the middle brake light. It was stuck on like the other badges, and I removed it with no damage. Apparently it hadn't been on very long.

Bad thing is that it was put on there in the first place. Good thing is that it should be easy to remove. One of the first things I did to mine was remove the dealer tag - thankfully they use vinyl decals.
