I am buffing out the black paint on my Z06. It just had a ton of swirl in it that was there when I got the car.
So I removed the front and rear C5 logos so that I wouldn't destroy the foam pads or the emblems. Since they are glued on they were easy to remove (fishingline and heat) . I am looking for suggestions for the best adhesive to use to re-attach. Want to be able to possibly remove them at a later date if I ever go through this again (hope not).
3M makes a double-sided tape you can use, and I'm certain I've seen some adhesive in a tube made specifically for the purpose. Try Wal Mart or a similar store, or an automotive store like AutoZone.
