A stupid question
This may be a stupid question, but are z06 lower than regular corvettes? I don't really notice the difference but my friend thought they were.

They start out at essentially the same height - can't say mine stayed there:

Just looking the overall height on this web page.....
http://www.corvetteactioncenter.com/...004/specs.html
The cars are within a 1/10 of an inch of each other. The only thing that I can think is that the stock tires on the Z06 are a slightly lower aspect ratio, but the overall height of the tire should be the same, since the tires are a larger "section" on the Z.
Your friend must have seen a lowered Z next to a non-lowered regular C5.

I've had both and I can say for sure the regular C5 coupe (stock suspension) scraped a lot more on my driveway than my Z06 or C5 coupe (with Z51) ever did. So is it actually higher...? Nah, I think it is because the stiffer suspension doesn't dip as much when I hit the bottom of the drive. I'm pretty sure they are the same height, but just don't act like it sometimes.
