Default Brake Dust Question...

Anyone know if it's possible to lessen the amount of brake dust generated on the front wheels? I've heard ceramic pads are a little better however they still produce dust. Is that true?
Thanks in advance for yout imput.

Ceremic pads helped loads. They are great and no noise any more.

Does the brake pedal feel soft until they get warm?

Ceramic pads are tan in color. Ceramic brake dust is tan, not brown/black, Ceramic pads also do NOT stop your car as fast. On an average Ceramic pads will take 5% LONGER to stop. In an emergance stopping situation figure at least 10 feet more to stop your car. No one plans on emergance stopping, but it happens once in a while.

Just wash the wheels more often

Have had Raybestos Q ceramic/metallic's for over 4 yrs on my 00 Coupe. They dust more that I like but are better than factory. No difference in pedal feel or stopping power.

I think all pads will produce some dusting. The ceramics generally produce less though.

It seems the more a pad produces dust the better they stop!
