Have a white 98 vert with white top.I am going to get some ZO6 wheels for the car(can't stand the "wagons" anymore) and can not decide what might look best...chrome, polished, OEM or am also thinking of the machined faced wheels.....anybody have pics of a white car with the OEM zo6 or machined face rims?
Thanks

There are lots of good reproductions out there. You'll pay LOTS more for the OEM compared to repros. I went with thin-spoke repros a couple of months ago when I had my fill of the wagon wheels. Looked at polished and chrome. Went with chrome because they have less upkeep. Take a look at Corvettes of Houston. I ended up getting mine from them. They are good people to work with, and know their stuff!

If you buy used from House of Wheels, you can get OEM wheels really cheap. From what I remember, they'll sell OEM argent Z06 wheels for ~$200 each.
I would go for the Z06 Chrome motorsports in the Z06 sizes. They are the kind with the rivets all around the outside of the wheel. I had an Arctic White 98 with the Z06 wheels and it looked fantastic. The only problem is you will have to buy not only the wheels but the tires too and it gets to be a little costly. Keep you original wheels and when and if you sell the car you can sell the other wheels separately or sell the extras on the forum here to lessen your costs up front. I think Bob's House of Wheels should be able to get you taken care of.
I have a 98 vert also white on white. I hated the wagon wheels and recently changed to chrome Z06 repros from Nate at Corvette Garage. I went with 18x9.5 and 18x10.5 w' 265x35x18 and 295x35x18 Kumho MX's. Same week I installed Z06 bars and Bilstein Sports which pulled the car down a little. The 18's look great and changed the look of the car completely. The white now pops! This color combination really needed a little chrome.
